Reynolds makes all-SICL first team

Three Bravettes were honored on the all-SICL softball teams announced by the league’s coaches.

At the top of Montezuma’s list was center fielder Katie Reynolds, who was placed on the all-league first team as a junior.

Reynolds hit .395 for Montezuma, with 19 runs batted in and 25 runs scored. She also was 25-for-25 in stolen base attempts. She was second on the team with 39 total bases.

Katie made 38 putouts in center field, and had a .911 fielding percentage.

Jadyn Sharer and Izzy Roorda earned honorable mention as freshmen.

Sharer, who caught and played second base and some shortstop, hit .338. She slugged 10 doubles, drove in 11 runs and scored 11 runs. She was six-for-six in stolen bases.

Roorda, a shortstop, hit .341, with 25 runs batted in. She scored 16 runs and went nine-for-10 in stolen bases. She also led Montezuma with 40 total bases.
