MINGO – The junior high Bravettes jumped to a 19-0 lead at the end of the first quarter and cruised to a 41-10 win on Monday, Dec. 2.
Montezuma was 18-52 from the field for 35%. Colfax was 4-14 for 17%. Monte won the rebound battle 32-27. The Bravettes had 9 turnovers and 8 assists. The Tigerhawks had 26 turnovers and one assist.
Jadyn Sharer scored 13 points. She was a stat stuffer with 5 rebounds, 4 steals and a block.
Ashlee Eilander dominated the boards with 11 rebounds and 6 points. Isabella Roorda had 5 points with 6 steals.
Jordan Ranfeld set the tone early with a quick layup to seconds into the game. She had 5 points. Shiressa Wetering had 4 points and 5 rebounds. Ellen Cook had 4 points. Alivia Cline had 2 points and 4 assists. Sam Bos had 2 points.
B Action: The Montezuma B-Team also dominated Colfax in a 42-11 win. It was 16-2 at halftime.
Kylee Larmore led the scoring with 10 points. Ava Pargeon had 8 points. Harley Pargeon and Makenna each scored 6 points. Addy Probasco and Taylor Wilcox both pitched in 4 points. Madison Cheney & Sabrina Elsleger each scored 2 points.
The Bravettes hosted North Mahaska on Tuesday, Dec. 3.
