Records are made to be broken. Or are they?
While touring the “new” school as part of their 50th year class reunion on July 2, former track stars Dan Hull (left) and Dallas Ferneau (right) were happy to see their names on the Wall of Fame. Hull and Ferneau teamed up with Mark VerSteegt and Bill Van Cleave to run a school record time of 3:29.50 in the 4 x 400 relay at the State Track Meet held on Drake University campus in Des Moines. It has been 50 years and their record still stands. Will this record ever be broken?
