The Montezuma Bravette 7th grade girls hosted L-Sully on Monday, Dec. 14, in their first game of the season.
The two teams battled closely in the first half. The score was tied 10-10 at halftime. The Hawks dominated the second half to win 28-15.
Montezuma was 7-38 from the field for 18%. Sully was 13-37 for 35%. The Hawks won the rebounds 34-24. Monte had 27 turnovers while Sully had 24.
Chloe Snook & Lindsey Henry each had 4 points. Lily Ferry had 3 points and 5 rebounds. Haileah Eichenberger & Makenna Warden had 2 points. Kami Mathes had 5 steals. Claire Erselius had 4 steals.
The 7th Bravettes are 0-1 on the season. Some home games will be televised on the school website. Check online for availability.
