Thursday – October 2nd vs Belle Plaine
8th: 25-17, 25-23, 11-25
7th: 10-25, 20-25, 17-25
The Bravettes faced off against the Plainsmen for the final home game of the year.

Belle Plaine brought a lot of girls and talent, with many girls who play travel volleyball.

The 8th grade team came out on fire, weathered some storms and finished strong – winning the first two sets. This is the best I have ever seen the 8th-grade squad play.

They did not quit, set up the ball over 20 times, sustained long rallies, and chased down every ball. I am so proud of this crew and how they were able to finish their junior high career with a win at home!

The 7th-grade team was up against a very good team and struggled with serve receive. They had some moments of greatness, but too many moments of being in 7th grade. I am so proud of how they have improved, and I know that this stumble will not be final for them. They have more to get, and I am excited to see what they can do in the final game next week.

It was great playing in a packed gym at home, and I know that the girls are still not satisfied. We will leave it all out on the court next week!
