The Montezuma Bravettes A-team traveled to Baxter to play the Bolts on January 16.

The Bolts had tough guards with two 6-foot-tall post players. The Bolts’ press frustrated the Bravettes in the first half.

The 4th quarter belonged to the Bolts. The final score was 41-19.

Monte shot 6-36 (17%) from the field, 1-8 from 3-point range and 6-25 from the free throw line. Baxter shot 16-46 (33%) from the field, 1-3 from 3-point range and 8-18 from the free throw line. Baxter outrebounded Monte 41-36. Monte had 22 turnovers to Baxter’s 17.
