It is so great to have students back in the building! The school year is off and running.
Reflecting back on the summer, we had a great turnout for our summer school program. Mrs. Nikkel provided multiple sessions to help avoid the “summer slide.”
There is a lot to plan and work out to teach kindergarten through 5th grade, but Mrs. Nikkel did a great job taking on that challenge.
We are excited about all the work that took place this summer. Mrs. Arment and Mrs. T love their new sink and cabinets. Access to water is essential in preschool rooms for water-table activities and for cleaning up after projects.
The auditorium project is coming along nicely. It will be great once it is finished. We plan to hold our winter elementary concert there. We may have to play around with times or do multiple sessions, as we will have less capacity than we did in the central gymnasium.
Overall, having a break is always nice but it sure is great to get the school year started. We are looking forward to another fun, positive, and successful year. As always, if there is anything anyone needs, please do not hesitate to contact me!
