The Braves hit the road to Southeast Warren this week.

They’ll find a challenge waiting for them there, over the football.

Both teams enter with 4-1 overall records. But, a point worth nothing: This will be a non-district game. The teams are in different districts.

Southeast Warren has a very athletic and big team,” Montezuma Coach John Beck said. “Their offensive line is big and they have two big backs that run really hard.”

They do a good job of mixing in play-action and are able to get some big plays off of it,” the coach said.

We will need to be very disciplined in reading our keys and keep up the intensity that we have had the last two weeks,” Beck said.

The Braves’ coach said, “their defense is big in the front five. They have a big nose tackle, and have two linebackers that fly around and make a lot of plays.”

This game will be a good test for us,” Beck said. “I am really excited to see our guys go out and compete.”
