Ava Anderson, daughter of Josh and Taryn Anderson, has qualified for the AAU Junior Olympics Track and Field Games in the 100-meter dash and the 1,500-meter run for 12-year-olds.
She qualified in both events at the state level at Grand View University, the regional level in Minnesota, and now will run in North Carolina later this month.
Ava will also be competing in North Dakota this month for a chance to run at the USATF Championships in Texas in both events.
