COLO – Two in a row!

For the first time this season, the Montezuma Bravettes have a winning streak.

The girls rolled past Colo-Nesco 14-0 in five innings on the road Tuesday night, June 14.

The Bravettes scored five runs in the first inning to set the tone, added two in the fourth, then finished up with a big seven-run fifth inning.

Montezuma smashed 13 hits, and were aided by three hit batters and three Colo-Nesco errors.

Ellen Cook went 3×4 for Montezuma and drove in six runs!

Kallie Robison pitched all five innings, scattering six hits, walking no one and striking out two.

The win lifted the Bravettes to 4-10 on the season.

Colo-Nesco tumbled to 2-14.
