Montezuma’s junior varsity boys maintained high intensity and a fast pace start to finish in a 48-26 home win over Green Mountain-Garwin on Thursday, Dec. 8.
David Rose led three double figures scorers for the Braves with 15 points.
Kohen Holland scored 12.
Briar Simpson had a double-double – 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Luke Brennan just missed twin digits with 8 points.
The Braves led 15-4 after one quarter, 24-12 at halftime and 38-18 through three periods as they held the Wolverines to single digit scoring in each quarter.
Montezuma also had a 34-17 lead in rebounds for the night.
