The Montezuma baseball and softball teams will be opening close to home and at home this coming week as post-season play begins.
BASEBALL
The Braves (4-11 when pairings were posted), will play Wayne of Corydon (5-13) at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 6, at Lynnville-Sully.
The winner will take on the winner of Lynnville-Suly (22-3) vs. ACGC (1-20) at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, also at Lynnville-Sully.
SOFTBALL
The Bravettes open at home at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 8. Montezuma was 8-10 at the time of the listing. The girls will face Melcher-Dallas (5-21).
The winner of that game plays again at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, at a location to be announced. The opponent: The winner between East Union (4-20), vs. Murray (18-6).
