BCLUW takes 2-0 win over Bravettes

BCLUW’s softball team scored a single run in the fifth inning and another in the sixth and beat Montezuma 2-0 on Thursday, June 2, on the Bravettes’ field.

Comets pitcher Katie Hill made the runs stand up by throwing a three-hit shutout. Kallie Robison was the tough luck losing pitcher, despite giving up just seven hits over seven innings. She walked one batter and struck out six.

Cameron Bergman hit a solo home run for the visitors, while a pair of doubles produced the other Comets run.

Montezuma’s record fell to 1-5 on the season.

BCLUW went to 5-3.
