BGM gets 18 hits in win over Braves

BGM unleashed an 18-hit attack and beat Montezuma 15-1 in five innings on Monday, June 21, at home.

The Braves had three hits, all singles, by Owen Cook, Broox Stockman and Luke Erselius.

Jake Moel had two hits and drove in three runs for the Bears, while Dominic Coleman drove in five runs with his two hits.

BGM pitcher Jacob Maurer struck out eight in five innings of work.

Colton Benson pitched 4.1 innings for the Braves, while Garrett Watts threw two-thirds of an inning and recorded a strikeout.

BGM moved to 7-9 on the season, while the Braves are at 0-12.
