This was the group of girls that attended a 10th birthday party (in 1951) for Phyllis Hicks Thursday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hicks on East Main.
They are (left to right): Joy Mathes, Jane Ann Cummings, Judy Livingston, Judy Ketels, Harriett Hicks, Ann Ferguson, Mary Hunter, Patty Jordan, Gerry Mulcahy, Louise Lohr, Donna McKee, and Charlotte Morgan.
The young honoree, Phyllis, is in the back row center. Those assisting with the party were Zelma Hicks of Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Basil Hicks, Mrs. Raymond Ehret, Mrs. Henry Henkle, Mrs. S. A. Blain. They served ice cream and cake after games were played during the afternoon.
