Boys JV team turns back Warhawks

The JV Braves used a big second half to score a come-from-behind, 46-38 basketball win over North Mahaska at home on Thursday, Jan. 20.

The Braves outscored the Warhawks 29-18 in the second half after trailing at intermission.

Nik Kotar led Braves scoring with 20 points, achieved with 8-for-10 shooting from the field.

Alex Black just missed a double-double, but he was tough, with 9 points and 9 rebounds.

Kohen Holland and Houston VanRoekel each scored 5 points and Tod Geiger had 4.

The Braves shot .548 from the field, and had a 28-20 lead in rebounds.
