BROOKLYN – It’s clear, after viewing results from the BGM Boys Track and Field Invitational, that the Montezuma Braves are making their push for the post-season.
The Braves competed in Class B at this meet and showed that they can score in most every events, including relays. That should make them a threat to be at least in the top half of the upcoming conference meet.
David Rose was second in the 100-meter dash in 11.46 seconds. Brady Boulton was third in the 200.
The Braves were second in the 4×100 and the hurdle shuttle.
Linkyn Bru and Cade Lowry went two-three in the 3,200 run.
Briar Simpson, in his first meet of the season, placed fourth in the shot put, but lifted Montezuma’s possibilities in that event with a toss of 38 feet, 7 inches.
