Braves 11-1 after rolling, 75-38

NORTH ENGLISH – The Montezuma Braves pushed their record to 11-1 during a 75-38 cruise past English Valleys on Tuesday evening, Jan. 14.

It was a doubleheader win by the boys, as the junior varsity team also beat the Bears, 47-34.

The Braves were consistent in this game and stuffed some of the stat charts.

Four Braves reached double figures scoring.

Brady Boulton led with 28 points, including 10-for-16 field goal shootning. Brady hit 8-of-13 from three-point range.

Luke Brennan came off the bench with his career scoring high, 12 points. Dane Strong scored 10 and Max Anderson had 10.

The Braves sank 14 three-point baskets.

Boulton led Montezuma in rebounds with 8 and tied Anderson for high in assists with 7.

David Rose led the Braves with 5 steals, while Boulton had 4.

One really impressive stats that reveals team play: Assists. The Braves assisted 21 of their 28 made field goals.

And, Montezuma shot .467 from the field.

The Braves had quarter leads of 22-8, 46-23 and 67-27.

The English Valleys varsity fell to 2-12 on the season.
