MONTEZUMA – The Montezuma Braves were a model of consistency and efficiency as they went about dispatching Moravia, 80-42, at home on Monday, Feb. 3.
They shot .500 from the field and limited the Mohawks to .306. They turned the ball over 12 times, but helped Moravia to 22 miscues.
The Braves went 10-for-11 from the free throw line, and 13-for-29 from behind the three-point arc.
Well, there’s more, but that’s probably enough to make a case for a one-sided win.
Montezuma’s quarter leads were 24-6, 44-16 and 64-31.
Three Braves scored in double digits.

Brady Boulton splashed down 29, on 9-for-19 shooting from the field, which included 5-for-12 from behind the arc. Once again, he was 6-for-6 from the free throw line.
Kohen Holland scored 11, on 4-for-8 from the field.
David Rose, whose shooting has been steadily improving, hit double figures with 10 points, on four-for-four from the field, which included two three-point baskets.
Boulton added 7 assists, 3 deflections and 2 rebounds to his stat line.
The Braves ran their record to a sparkling 16-2.
Moravia dropped to 11-9.
