NEW SHARON – Montezuma’s boys track team competed in the North Mahaska Coed Relays on Thursday, April 8, and produced some season’s best performances.
Brydon Henning picked up a first place medal with a run of 2:17.53 in the 800.
The Braves got a second-place run in the 1,600 distance medley. Eli Bustamante, Marty Knox, Garrett Watts and Brydon Henning covered the distance in 4:08.01.
Roadcap took fifth in the shot put with a heave of 32 feet, 10 inches. He also was seventh in the discus, at 85-6.
The Braves also added a second relay to their lineup, the 4×100.
