LeGRAND – The big-school competition was tough, but Montezuma’s boys track team had a few moments in the sun at the Boys Mustang Relays on Monday, April 12.
The Braves’ best finish was third in the 1,600-meter distance relay. Eli Bustamante, Marty Knox, Garrett Watts and Brydon Henning clocked 4:10.92.
Henning placed fourth in the 3,200-meter run in 12:02.11.
Meanwhile, Bustamante picked up a fifth place in the high jump with his effort of 5 feet, 2 inches.
