Montezuma’s boys basketball team was honored after its excellent season recently at Star Lanes.
Broox Stockman received the “Team Together” award by vote of his teammates. This goes to the player that teammates said was most willing to play whatever role was needed for team success.
Brady Boulton received six plaques, one each for various school records that he re-set:
Steals in game – 10;
Most points in game – 54;
Most steals, season – 106;
Most three-pointers, season – 99;
Best free throw percentage, season – .912;
Highest scoring average, season – 28.2
Players making the All South Iowa Cedar League Team were saluted. This was announced earlier, but at the time it had not been stated that Brady Boulton was a unanimous selection:
Brady Boulton, first team, unanimous.
Kohen Holland, second team.
Max Anderson, honorable mention.
Dane Strong, honorable mention.
