MARENGO – A six-member Montezuma wrestling team fared reasonably well in a quad duals meet with Belle Plaine, Iowa Valley and Moravia on Thursday evening, Jan. 12.
The Braves didn’t win any duals, but they won a number of matches.
Two Montezuma matmen went 3-0 on the evening.
Marty Knox at 195 pounds pinned two opponents and picked up a forfeit win.
Kennen Roadcap at 220 won his three bouts by a fall, a decision and a forfeit.
UP NEXT – The Braves are at a tourney in Pleasantville on Saturday, Jan. 14.
