The Montezuma Braves will open post-season baseball play on the road.
The Braves, in District 8 of Class 1A, will visit Highland of Riverside at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 2.
The winner will play the winner of a 5 p.m. July 2 game matching Hillcrest Academy and Grandview Christian.
Those two winners on July 2will play each other on July 5.
In the bracket below, English Valleys will play at Lynnville-Sully at 7 p.m. on July 2, while North Mahaska will play Colfax-Mingo at 5 p.m., also at Lynnville-Sully.
The district 8 winner will play the district 7 winner in a substate game n July 12, at a location to be determined.
The teams in district 7 are North Linn, Springville, BGM, HLV, Alburnett, Iowa Valley, GMG and Belle Plaine.
