Bravettes 2nd in GMG tournament

GARWIN – The Bravettes volleyball team showed improved play in going 4-1 and placeing second in the GMG tournament on Saturday, Sept. 14.

We had great energy all day. I couldn’t be more proud of our effort,” said Coach Tim Burgess.

The Bravettes beat Collins-Maxwell, Meskwaki, South Tama and Lynnville-Sully.

We lost to a very good Dunkerton team,” Burgess said.

The weekend’s play saw Montezuma improve to an overall record of 7-8.

Dunkerton stood at 7-2.
