TAMA – The Bravettes got back to within one game of .500 with a 12-0 run past South Tama in five innings on Monday, July 1.
Nine different Bravettes combined for 13 hits. Meanwhile, pitcher Syd Burgess was spinning a neat two-hitter in the circle.
Mya Smothers continued her hot hitting, ripping three safeties, one of them a double, and driving in 3 runs.
Ellen Cook had two hits, including a double, drove in a run and stole a base.
Burgess helped her own cause with a pair of singles.
Chloe Snook had one hit, an RBI and a stolen base.
Madison Van Zee and Kam Schmidt each had singles.
Vivian Cook drove in two runs with her single.
Izzy Roorda and Lauryn Larmore each had RBI-singles.
Lily Ferry scored three runs as a courtesy runner and also stole a base.

The Bravettes played errorless softball.
