Bravettes cc wins at Winfield

WINFIELD – Montezuma’s cross country girls won the team championship at the Winfield-Mt. Union Invitational on Thursday, Sept. 30.

Coach Kevin Gartman supplied these results on Monday, Oct. 4:

The Bravettes rolled to the team title.

Medalists were Ellen Cook, third place; Alivia Cline (4), Mia Boulton (6), Madison Johannes (8), Haley Van Der Hart (10) and Lydia Singleton (12).

Junior varsity medalists for the Bravettes were Ashlee Eilander (1), Makenna Johannes (2), Camryn Brennan (3), Hayley Burnett (4) and Linnea Gusic (5). 

The Montezuma varsity boys finished sixth out of nine teams.
