Bravettes fall 10-0 to Davis County

KEOSAUQUA – Davis County scored a 10-0 win over Montezuma in the Bravettes’ second game of the Van Buren tournament on Satuday, June 4.

Davis County, a larger school, ran its record to 6-1 on the season, while Montezuma fell to 1-8.

Madison Van Zee went 2×3 at the plate for the Bravettes, who managed three hits in all.

Abby Pope was the Bravettes’ starting pitcher, and struck out one batter.

Davis County pitching struck out 15 Montezuma hitters.

The Bravettes were guilty of just one error in this contest.
