MARENGO – Montezuma started fast, but Lynnville-Sully finished big in a 2-1 volleyball win over the Bravettes on Thursday evening, Oct. 13.
The match took place in the “silver” quad of the SICL tournament, and eliminated the Bravettes from further play in the conference event.
Scores in the match were 25-21 for the Bravettes, and 25-22 and 17-15 for Lynnville-Sully.
The defeat dropped Montezuma to 8-17 on the season.
UP NEXT – It’s on to regional play on Monday, Oct. 17. Montezuma will take on 29-2 Springville in Springville at 7 p.m.
