Bravettes keep crunching numbers

MONTEZUMA – The Bravettes once again put together a complete game, this time in a 64-26 won over HLV in the final home contest of the regular season on Tuesday, Feb. 4.

Ellen Cook and Vivian Cook shared game honors with 22 points each, while Shiressa Wetering put in 9.

Claire Erselius added 10 rebounds and Ellen Cook had 8 assists. The Bravettes assisted 15 of their 24 field goals and shot .480 from the field.

During the game, Ellen Cook surpassed 1,000 career points.

The win lifted the Bravettes to 15-4 on the season.

HLV went to 9-9.

UP NEXT: The Bravettes visit Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont to take on the #1 team in Class 2A on Saturday evening, Feb. 8.
