The Bravettes rode a strong offensive attack and the three-hit pitching of Kallie Robison to a 5-1 win over HLV at home on Monday, June 27.
The Bravettes rapped out nine hits and grabbed command with a three-run fourth inning.
Robison didn’t walk a batter and struck out 10 over seven innings.
Laila Kercheval went 2×3 at the plate, drove in a run, and stole a base.
Madison Van Zee was 2×4 with a run batted in.
Izzy Roorda was 2×3 with a double and an RBI.
Getting one hit each were Robison, who drive in a run, Jadyn Sharer and Tia Shaffer, who scored a run.
Chloe Snook also scored a run.
The Bravettes stole seven bases – one each by seven players.
The win lifted Montezuma to 8-15 on the season. HLV went to 3-14.
