The Bravettes split a pair of games in their own Bravettes Classic tournament on Saturday, June 15.
Montezuma was a 19-1 winner over Baxter in the first game.
Moravia beat the Bravettes 16-6 in the second game.
The win and loss left Montezuma with a 6-7 record at the end of the day.

A 10-run sixth inning by Montezuma got the girls out to their 19-1 lead and the Bravettes ended it in six.
Vivian Cook was the hitting star, lining three hits and driving home four runs.
Chloe Snook had two hits, and Kam Schmidt drove in two runs.
The Bravettes stole 17 bases, three each by Snook and Vivian Cook.
Another highlight for the Bravettes: An errorless game by the defense.
Syd Burgess picked up the pitching win, going six innings and allowing 3 hits and one earned run. She walked 3 and struck out three.
Baxter took an 0-13 record into their second game of the day against Moravia.

Montezuma was outhit just 10-9, but the Bravettes posted four errors in this six-inning contest.
Chloe Snook went 3-for-three and scored 3 runs.
Madison Van Zee also had 3 hits, scored 2 runs, and stole a base.
Ellen Cook’s one hit was a double, and she drove home two with it.
Mya Smothers also smacked a double and drove home 3 runs.
Sydnee Burgess had one hit.
Burgess started in the circle and pitched 3 innings, giving up 4 hits and 5 runs, all earned.
Madison Van Zee worked three innings, allowing 6 hits and 11 runs, 8 of them earned. She walked 5 and didn’t strike out anyone.
Moravia had a 9-14 season record after this win.
