One step outside tells you the winter sports season must be upon us – and it is.
The varsity girls basketball team was set to make its first public appearance, at the Lynnville-Sully jamboree on Monday, Nov. 14. There, they were to take on PCM in a 16-minute half.
Results don’t count, but it was to be played under game conditions, with officials, scorers, the whole nine yards.
The first game: Tuesday, Nov. 22, at home, against Pella Christian.
The Bravettes, who were a young team a season ago, will carry that same line to start this season, with just four seniors on the roster Coach Janel Burgess posted prior to the jamboree
