Braxton Plants wins three as matmen open

SIGOURNEY – Braxton Plants made a splash as the Montezuma wrestling team opened its season on Thursday evening, Dec. 1.

Plants won all three of his matches at 182 pounds, one by fall and the other two by 9-2 and 11-6 decisions.

Marty Knox at 195 also won three times, once by a pin and the other two via forfeits.
