Braves senior Brydon Henning qualified for the state meet by winning the 800-meter run Thursday night, May 13, at the state qualifying meet in Belle Plaine.
Henning had the third-best time in the region coming in, but won it over an athlete from Springville by .01 of a second.
Congratulations to Brydon, a hard-working athlete if ever there was one, and the leader of Montezuma’s nine-man band of tracksters!
