COLFAX – Montezuma 220-pounder Chance Gillum pinned a man, but was the only Brave to pick up a win during actual match action Thursday evening, Jan. 9.

Gillum pinned Kenneth Craig of Colfax-Mingo in 30 seconds as a three-man Braves team took on the Tigerhawks, BGM and Pleasantville in dual meet action.

Brian Diaz, Montezuma’s 170-pounder, picked up a forfeit victory against BGM.

UP NEXT – Montezuma was scheduled to appear Saturday, Jan. 11, at the North Mahaska Invitational, but that meet has been canceled because of weather. The Braves’ next actionis Thursday, Jan. 16 at Iowa Valley, with action starting at 6 p.m.
