Funeral services are currently pending. Holland-Coble Funeral Home of Montezuma is in charge of arrangements.
Chloe Ann Hutchcraft, the daughter of Brad and Jessica Hutchcraft, was born on May 26, 2006 at the Skiff Medical Center in Newton.
She was currently a Senior at Montezuma High School and most recently joined the cross-country team because she lost a bet with Coach Gartman. Chloe held an afterschool and summer job at Super Valu Grocery Store in Montezuma where she enjoyed talking and interacting with her customers. She has a contagious laugh and smile along with a passion for sports. Chloe loved talking and debating why her team and/or driver was better than yours.
She was accepted to Luther College and was going to be a sports analyst and most recently had the opportunity to shadow KGRN Sports Director, Chris Varney, who gave her an assignment to interview her Montezuma Cross County Coach. She did such a good job with that assignment; he was going to let her interview other area coaches. Chloe’s dream job was to be an analyst for ESPN and host her own show with her dad being her first guest.
Her favorite teams are the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Dodgers along with her favorite NASCAR driver, Chase Elliott and truck series driver, Zane Smith. Chloe also enjoyed to read.
Her memory will be honored by her parents, Brad and Jessica Hutchcraft of Montezuma; her siblings, Jake Hutchcraft, Aislyn Hutchcraft, Sawyer Hutchcraft and Tatum Hutchcraft all of Montezuma; her paternal grandfather, Mike (Lynn) Hutchcraft of Kuttawa, KY; maternal grandfather, Greg Long of Montezuma; along with many friends and other relatives.
Chloe was preceded in death by her two grandmothers, Linda Hutchcraft and Shelly Long and a sister, Makayla Hutchcraft.
