Two Montezuma juniors were among 12 girls chosen to the Class 1A Region 8 All-Region team by the region’s coaches.
The two are point guard Ellen Cook, and post player Shiressa Wetering.
The 5-foot-5 Cook averaged 13.6 points per game heading into the state tournament, as well as 4.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per contest.
Wetering, 5-11, scored 12.1 per game, averaged 4.6 rebounds and 0.5 assists.
