The Bravettes return three starters from a year ago and a state-tournament-berth team.

The team is eager to grow together as we have many new faces ready to break into the varsity playing field. Over time, this group has the potential to be small but mighty, with only one player standing over 5’9″.

This season, our identity will be built on defense. We want to take pride in our intensity, communication, and toughness on that end of the floor. By pressuring the ball, creating turnovers, and being disciplined in our rotations, we hope to set a tone that every opponent feels for four quarters.

Offensively, we aim to play fast—pushing the tempo, running the floor hard, and using our quickness to our advantage.

With our speed and work ethic, this team can thrive in transition and keep defenses on their heels. If we commit to defending relentlessly and attacking with pace, we believe this group can grow into something special as the season goes on.

Our key returners include Claire Erselius, Vivian Cook, Sydnee Burgess, and Lauryn Larmore.

Promising returnees are Letisia Wilson, Ryanne Williams, Sophia Semprini, Rylee Thompson, and Alexa Rose.

Promising newcomers are Molly Jones, Brielle Haughey, and Brylee Latcham.

The Bravettes opened their regular season on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at Pella Christian
