NEW SHARON – Deja vu . ..all over again.
Just days after losing 1-0 at Colfax-Mingo (Friday), the softball Bravettes lost 1-0 at North Mahaska on Tuesday evening, May 31.
This time, North Mahaska pushed across a first inning run and pitcher Morgan Hudson made it hold up for a win.
Kallie Robison pitched well for the Bravettes, scattering eight singles over six innings. She didn’t walk a batter. She struck out four.
But Hudson was equal to the task. She allowed just one hit over seven innings, and struck out eight.
Freshman Regan Grewe singled in the Warhawks’ run in the first. She had three hits on the night.
The loss dropped Montezuma to 1-3 on the season.
North Mahaska moved to 2-1.
UP NEXT – The Bravettes will get after it again tonight (Wednesday, June 1) at HLV.
