Grand Chancellor, James Eckert of Oakland, passed the gavel to Dennis Broadston of Montezuma on Saturday, September 26, during the 150th annual Grand Lodge of Iowa Convention of the Knights of Pythias.
Dennis joined the list of other Montezuma Knights who have been elected to this prestigious position:

Boyd Sparks and Harold Wheeler, members of Aztec Lodge 238, attended the convention held at the Holiday Inn Hotel on Merle Hay Road in Des Moines.
Members of Dennis’s family present for his installation on Saturday were his aunt Marjorie Cutshall of Cedar Rapids, his wife Pam, sons Paul and Andy, and daughter-in-law, Becky, all of Montezuma.
