Montezuma High School senior Elise Boulton has declared her intention to attend Simpson College in Indianola, where she will be part of the women’s basketball program.
She is a daughter of Buddy and Marie Boulton.
Here is what Elise wrote in a post on Twitter:
“I am so excited and blessed to announce my commitment to continue my academic and basketball career at Simpson College!
First of all, I want to thank God for blessing me with this opportunity along with so many other amazing opportunities.
I would also like to thank my family for their countless sacrifices, as well as my teammates (especially my sister (Mia), for believing in me every step of the way.
A huge thank you goes to my coaches are always pushing me to my fullest potential, and especially Coach (Janel) Burgess, for guiding me through this process.
Finally, thank you to Coach Niemuth and Coach Lonning for making Simpson feel like home and welcoming me into their program.
I am so excited for this next part of my journey; Roll Storm!!”
