Firefighters honor those lost in 911

Firefighters from Montezuma and two from Barnes City spent a portion of Sunday morning, Sept. 11, climbing the bleachers at Badger-Gabriel Field in Montezuma.

They were honoring the memory of the 343 firefighters who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001, in the 911 attack on America.

The firefighters ran 110 flights of stairs, in honor of the number of stories of the World Trade Center twin towers in New York City.
