Four Bravettes were honored by selection to the South Iowa Cedar League’s all-conference teams.
Madison Van Zee was named to the first team as an outfielder.
Izzy Roorda was on the second team as an infielder.
Gaining honorable mention spots were Kallie Robison and Jadyn Sharer.
Van Zee, a sophomore, batted .389, tops among the Montezuma regulars. She drove in 13 runs and had six sacrifices.
Van Zee led the eam with 23 runs scored and 40 total bases. She was 13×14 on stolen bases. She also had an .852 fielding average.
Roorda, also a sophomore, batted .318 and drove in 18 runs. She had 36 total bases, scored 20 runs, and went 9×9 on stolen bases. She was a .944 fielder.
Robison, a junior, was the team’s starting pitcher in all 27 games. She threw 166 innings, with a 2.95 earned run average. She issued just 16 bases on balls and struck out 123.
As a hitter, Robison led the team with 25 runs batted in. She hit .256, including four doubles and two home runs. She had 32 total bases.
Sharer, a sophomore infielder, hit .284 with six doubles and 12 runs batted in. She compiled 31 total bases and was 5×5 on stolen bases. She was an .878 fielder.
