Girls bow out at regional golf finals

SULLY – Two Bravettes broke 100, but Montezuma’s girls golf season ended at the regional finals on Wednesday, May 18.

Chloe Hutchcraft shot 96 and Aislyn Hutchcraft carded 98 – the ninth- and 10th-best scores out of 40 golfers.

But an 88 was needed in order to have a chance to qualify for the state meet as an individual.

As a team, Montezuma shot 416 to place sixth among seven full scoring teams.

Sigourney (371) and BCLUW (392) were the two teams qualifying for state from this district.

A total of 40 golfers competed.
