The girls regional basketball tournament gets under way on Thursday, Feb. 9 – and if the Bravettes keep winning, they will have hosted three times before going to the regional championship game!
On Feb. 9, the Bravettes take on Hillcrest Academy.
If they beat Hillcrest, they’ll play again in Feb. 14. If they win that one, they’ll play at home in the regional semifinals on Feb. 17.
The semifinals winners play in the regional championship game on Feb. 22, with that winner going to Des Moines for state.
Possible opponents should the Bravettes win their first game are Lone Tree or Midland.
After that, it could be Springville, Easton Valley, English Valleys or Highland.
After that . . .well, we’ll worry about that if it comes about!
