SULLY – It wasn’t easy, but Montezuma swept Lynnville-Sully on Thursday evening, Sept. 16, in varsity volleyball to take their record to one match over .500 for the season.
It wasn’t easy, because the first two games were close in the 3-0 win. Montezuma won both by 25-22 scores, then took game three, 25-13.
“We tried a new rotation and learned to adjust pretty well,” said Bravettes Coach Rylie Little.
The Bravettes had something on their serves, too. They didn’t have their highest percentage of the season, but they came up with 12 aces.
“It was a good confence win,” Little said. “It’s always tough heading to Lynnville-Sully.”
The victory left the Bravettes at 8-7 overall on the season.
