Girls have fun vs. HLV experience

The HLV junior high volleyball team was a strong and experienced squad with a solid setter and a good hitting crew.

The 8th graders battled with a limited squad (some at cross-country) and were able to put together some rallies. In the end, too many unforced errors moved the HLV team ahead.

The girls worked hard together and continued to support each other regardless of the outcomes.

These matches were played at home.

The 7th-grade squad had to face several 8th-graders due to the limited size of the HLV team. After a slow start in the first set against one of the best 8th graders, the team put it together for a win in the second set.

I am so proud of the girls’ ability to support each other and have fun on the court!

8th grade: 8-25, 10-25, 2-15
7th grade: 11-25, 25-16, 3-15
