TAMA – Two event wins and four second-place relay finishes lifted the Bravettes to a third-place team finish in the South Tama Coed Invitational on Tuesday, April 25.
The mix of teams included some Monezuma rarely competes against, iincluding Hudwon (first place, 140 points), Waterloo West (second, 117) and Saydel and South Tama, who finished immediately behind the Bravettes.
The blend produced some good times and efforts.
Freshman Chloe Snook won the 400-meter dash in 1:02.50.
The other win was turned in by the 1,600 medley relay squad.
Second-place relays for the Bravettes were the 4×100, 4×200, 4×400 and the 4×800.
We don’t have relay runners names or comments from Coach Megan Carlson as of this writing.
UP NEXT – Montezuma’s boys and girls have strong competitive meet in front of them at Grundy Center on Friday, April 28.
