Girls open regional with a 3-0 victory

The Bravettes swept Meskwaki Settlement School 3-0 in the opening round of the Class 1A volleyball regional on Monday, Oct. 17.

Montezuma, playing at home, won on scores of 25-2, 25-9 and 25-8.

The victory lifted the Bravettes to 9-17 on the season.

Meskwaki closed the books on a 1-23 campaign.

Serving was huge for the Bravettes in this match. They served at a .959 efficiency, with 18 aces.
